AAT
In order to register as a student member (even if you are planning to take up a distance learning option and study from home), you must be enrolled, or have been offered a place at a college or other Approved Assessment Centre (AAC).

Tips for finding the right centre (training provider)
ACCA
ACCA operates a University College Registration Scheme (UCRS) worldwide to establish quality standards for all ACCA tuition providers and promote excellence
.The scheme awards three levels of registration - Registered, Premier and Premier Plus. Tuition providers are assessed against five areas of performance:
- Facilities
- Student support
- Materials (promotional, support and study)
- Tuition
- Course management
Each level requires higher standards from the tuition providers and more rigorous monitoring by ACCA.

AIA
AIA strives to ensure that its study courses are as widely available to students as possible, and this is continually expanding. Study courses are available locally in most major international financial centres and through distance learning.
ATT
Students may find they would benefit from following a distance learning course and attending evening classes and/or intensive revision courses. When considering your course provider you should ask questions about the qualifications and expertise of the lecturers, number of students on the course, number sitting the examination and examination pass rates.

CIMA
CIMA Learning Quality Partners have proven that they offer the very best in CIMA tuition. Each CIMA Learning Quality Partner has provided evidence that they can meet all of CIMA's key performance indicators. CIMA is committed to ensuring that they continuously perform to the required high standards.
The CIMA college list contains both Quality Partner colleges and Listed colleges. A listed college is one that is unable to meet the criteria for that of a Quality Partner. CIMA do not formally assess the quality of tuition provided by listed colleges.
CIOT
Students are strongly recommended to follow a properly structured course of study designed specifically to prepare candidates for the CIOT examination. When considering your course provider you should ask questions about the qualifications and expertise of the lecturers, number of students on the course, number sitting the examination and examination pass rates. The CIOT course list is ordered in the following way:

CIPFA
CIPFA Education and Training Centres (CETCs) together with a number of universities and colleges offer the CIPFA qualification.
ICAEW
Subject to a training contract, there are over 2,000 authorised training offices to choose from in the UK and internationally; these include firms of chartered accountants, commercial organisations and public sector organisations.

ICAI
Training for students is run through the Centre of Accounting Studies (CAS). Subject to a training contract, a list courses is available here
ICAS
ICAS is the only body in the UK to run its own comprehensive, compulsory programme of education and training for all its students.
Subject to a training contract, students attend classes at one of 15 training centres UK-wide:
Aberdeen – Birmingham – Bristol – Cambridge – Dundee – Edinburgh – Glasgow – Leeds - London – Luton – Manchester – Newcastle – Nottingham – Reading – Southampton

IFA
Students who have completed the IFA examination structure at Technician and Associate Levels may study for the Fellow examinations with University of Bolton through its open learning programme. When completed, this would give them a BA Honours Degree in Accountancy plus eligibility to apply to become a Fellow member of the Institute of Financial Accountants.
