Honorary Professorship Strengthens Ties Between ICAS and Leading University

Norman Murray CA, a Past-President of ICAS and Chairman of Cairn Energy PLC has been appointed as an Honorary Professor of Heriot-Watt University.

Norman, an alumnus of the University is Chairman of Cairn Energy PLC, a FTSE 100 Company and a non-executive director of Greene King plc and Robert Wiseman Dairies plc.

ICAS and CICPA Agree International Co-Operation on Accounting Development

Following hot on the heels of the ICAEW the world’s first professional body of accountants and the sole accountancy body in mainland China today signed a Memorandum of Understanding which will help to develop the profession in the UK and People’s Republic of China.
