CIMA has today launched a new e-magazine for students.

Named Velocity, the new e-magazine will support CIMA students as they progress throughout their studies to membership.

The e-magazine will be issued every other month (first issue distributed 13 February) to coincide with the CIMA exam diets and will be packed with career and exam advice.

The first ever issue to be emailed to all students and made available via the CIMAglobal.com website, includes advice from a CIMA student who discusses the importance of work-life balance and will offer help and advice for students who are getting ready for their May exams.  Each issue will offer students an opportunity to put a question to an assessor, and the chance to try a practice exam question.  An example exam question and model answer will also be included.

Robert Jelly, Director of Education, CIMA said:

“An on-line newsletter dedicated to students rated highly in the CIMA student survey and we have produced this e-magazine with the needs of our students in mind.  This new e-magazine will be an innovative and regular communication to students.  It will provide them with practical exam advice and signpost the way to the support material available to them.

“The aim of the e-magazine is to give all our students as much support as we can and this is reiterated by the inclusion of specific careers advice for students who want to know more about the countries and jobs that their globally recognised qualification can take them to.”
