Carrying forward a pass from previous examination structure?

If you carried forward a pass from the previous examination structure (pre May 2007) then this will only be valid up to and including the November 2008 examination session.
If you passed the old personal tax paper you would have a credit in the current paper on Personal Taxation. If you passed the old business tax paper you would have a credit in the current paper on Business Taxation & Accounting Principles.
If you had passed (not been exempted from) the old Principles of Law and Principles of Accounting papers then you would have a credit in the new non core paper of your choice.
Please note that the November 2008 examination session will be your final attempt to pass any outstanding papers under the new examination structure in order to complete the ATT examination requirements for membership. The transitional provisions that were put in place from May 2007 will become void after the November 2008 examination session.
Should you be unsuccessful in the November 2008 examination session you will be required to sit all four papers required for ATT membership under the rules of the current examination structure from May 2009.
Please contact the Education Team should you have any queries.
