Get Through Guides Competition Rules

These rules relate to the following competition.

Please read these competition rules carefully. By submitting your entry to the competition, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them:

1. To enter the competition you must be 18 years old or over at the time of entry.

2.  You must be both an ACCA student and an AccountancyStudents member to apply – your registrations may be verified to ensure elgibility.

3. No purchase is necessary.

4. Only one entry per person.

5. To enter the competition you must send all the details requested to the correct email address.

6. Sending an e-mail or submitting your response is not proof that we have received your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed due to technical error or which are not received for any reason.

7. There are 10 prizes in total. 5 distance learning packages, consisting of a Study text, Question Bank and Keynotes, in addition to access to the forum.  There are then 5 runners up prizes of a study text each.

8. All emails with the correct details will be entered into the prize draw. The prizes will be drawn by the CEO of Get Through Guides and allocated in the order detailed above (point 7).

9. The closing date for the competition is midnight on the 24 September 2008 (entries received after that time will not be valid).

10. If you win the competition, we will notify you by telephone or e-mail. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. You can find out who has won on the accountancystudents.co.uk website after the closing date.

12. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in any promotional activity and material as Get Through Guides may require.

13. The prizes will not be transferable to another person.

14. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

15. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

16. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

17. This competition is being run by Get Through Guides Limited, Unit 2,  308A Melton Road Leicester LE4 7SL.

18. Get Through Guides reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.

19. Get Through Guides will endeavour to send prizes within a week of the competition end date.

20. This competition is open to any ACCA student anywhere in the world and GTG will contribute up to £30 on postage and packing on sending the materials to their home country.
