Progression to ICAS
Through its Joint Venture with the AAT, ICAS now provides an alternative route into chartered accountancy training.
Using AAT’s proven product and the Institute’s world renowned reputation for quality education, the joint venture has made it easier for ambitious AAT members to enter the CA training programme and enjoy the career opportunities open to them as qualified chartered accountants
Members of the AAT may be exempt from 2 of the 5 subjects at Test of Competence level:
Financial Accounting and Business Management.
AAT Members will need to enter into a 3 year training contract and the employer will therefore need to be authorised by ICAS to provide CA training.
