MYOB aims to grow channel with latest launch

Accounting software provider MYOB is looking to increase its channel base of 1400 accountancy practices with the launch of version 17 of its flagship small business accounting software products. The move is partly in response to Microsoft’s entry into the market.

This latest version includes enhancements such as advanced remittance, improved payroll and security.

Also for the first time, MYOB has split the software development between its PC and Mac range to enable the company to rollout advanced operating system specific functionality quickly in the future. For customers, this means a shorter response time to adding new features.

Jiten Modhwadia, head of customer relations at MYOB, comments, “MYOB has responded to feedback from customers by offering features that will help small businesses to improve how they engage with clients, enhancing their brand image in a competitive market. There is no reason why small businesses can’t be professional businesses. This software will give them the definitive ‘wow’ factor without that extra investment.
