Congrats TopCat on getting through P3 and best of luck for the June 2013 session.

This is the first exam session where I'm not fretting bout the results as by the Grace of God I qualified in June 2012. However I'm aware its a pretty tense day for all candidates until one gets through the ACCA server/receives the e-mail.

Once again congrats to all those who've passed and commiserations to those who missed out this time around. As difficult as it may seem, keep the faith and in the words of a famous Journey tune - 'Don't Stop Believing'!!!

Good to see you once again Blue and hope you continue to inspire more people (like me) in getting qualified. Thanks for all your wonderful guidance and wishing you all the best...:)

Thanks all,

Omarpk - some good advice and well done on passing all the exams.
Bluewed and Popeye- please check you PM's

P3 was by far my favourite of the exams and it was a re-take so I had a sneaky suspicion I had done enough to squeeze through.

P5 is such an awkward exam, it really feels like a learn and forget exam. But we play the game to achieve our desired goals

Popeye -The fact that are you on and taking P4 probably tells me that you are an intelligent chap and also very close to finishing, hang in there and re-take! success is only 3 hours and 15 minutes within your reach.

F5 - 67
F6 - 58
P1 - 50

Shocked myself with P1 as I hadn't prepared at all. Just wrote common sensical answers. I believe ACCA just pushed me thru there.

Going to attempt the remaining 4 papers in June, P2,P3,P4 and P5 or P7. I am torn between P5 and P7. I have a knack for theory papers and that tempts me to go for P7 (scored 72 on F8 and passed P1 without preparation), but looking at the past papers and suggested answers, I am concerned by the sheer volume of the answers for P7.

Suggestions??

F6 - 50
F8 - 62

Pleasantly surprised by F6. I wasn't sure if I would pass, as I had become a little confused at some parts. But I guess the examiner saw enough to be convinced that I essentially knew what I was doing and helped me along.
