Help.. advice on P5

Postby vims » Sat Feb 21, 2009 4:28 pm

Hi, I got exemptions from the perf Management paper at the Knowledge Level. I am confused as to if I should take P6 or p5 as my Option paper. P6 seems to be really tough but the question is will I be able to cope with P5 having no prior knowledge? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Vims,

I believe that P3 and p5 is similar so I do not think you will be having any problem as you passed P3 with the first attempt.

All P papers are tough. I my self studied 2.4 previously and ftc at london branch do not have any knowledge gap lecture.

good luck for p5 and p6.

Hi

I gave 2.1 Information systems instead of F5 Performance management and I find no difficulty in currently doing P5. You should go ahead with P5 If you are interested.

I am doing P5 and I like it..

Hi Vims,

I have not studied F5 but studied 2.1.

Can you please ask your tutor who will give you guidance and some notes to cover the previous topics.

Most of us studied an old syllabus for level 2 so I believe most of us, who are studying P papers are on the same boat.

Hi,

Is anyone on this forum still in the same position as those above? i.e. got exemption from F5 having done 2.1 (old structure) but want to do P5? I wonder if there are important fundamentals that one would miss as a result of not having done F5, and thus find P5 much more difficult.

Thank you

Hi

I have one more question. As i have checked with the syllabus in P5. Its indirectly link with P3. So, i wonder its is better to take P5, as i will be learning the 'same or similar' topic in between P5 and P3.

Your advice will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
