Hi guys,

I have failed the P3 paper the last exam sitting and have to go for revision course somewhere.

I did my original course in Manchester (Kaplan). However their revision course for P3 is first week in November - which to be honest could create problems at work. In Leeds it is 3rd Week in November, but there is different tutor…

In Manchester the tutor is Paul Anderson and in Leeds it is Oliver Seed.

Can anyone give me any insight whether they consider the Leeds tutor good? I found the paper quite difficult to understand the questions - or more to the point, which model the examiner wanted me to use if he asked specific question…

Any help appreciated

Thank you

In Manchester the tutor is Paul Anderson and in Leeds it is Oliver Seed.

My tutor was Paul Anderson also, he seems a good tutor. But always with these courses the topics are covered so quickly you have little time to debate the application.

Good luck with revision!

How about starting a P3 study group concentrating on case studies and we can add to our knowledge as we go along.

Many Thanks

Hello,

I work full time so can only manage one paper .. Want to do P3 this sitting ... But .. I dont find theory very difficult so want to study at home.. Perhaps a study group is a very good idea ...

Or .. is it really important to take tuition/revision courses??? I did P1 from MMU ... The tutor was exceptionally good but at the same time ..I could have easily managed at home.. so this time.. I am thinking whether to spend the money or not ?

Yes, I also work full time and it is not easy is it…

I also don’t find theory difficult at all. I can talk for England and have quite a lot of common sense. The problem with this one was to identify the model the examiner wants you to use from the way he asked..

I am definitely going for revision because I have much better audio memory then visual memory and so 1 day at college for me is the same as 3 days reading at home. I can read without “taking it in” if you know what I mean so college for me is better.

Otherwise, if you have good home study support where the tutor can help you with “cracking the question code” as I call it over the phone or email and you are used to study at home then you probably don’t need to go to college.
