Hi All,

As the results release draws ever closer, we have put this thread up so you can all share your thoughts, predictions and anxieties in the final days leading up to the results release on Monday.

On behalf of AccountancyStudents, I would like to wish you all the very best of luck and hope you all get the results you want.  Following the results release we will post a thread (and links to) our recommended material you should purchase ready for the December 2010 sitting.

Best wishes
Steve

Results are available on MYACCA at 5am UK time.

The emails are also sent around the same time, but some emails can take until the early afternoon to come through.  (I received mine at 3:30pm last sitting, but 5:30am two sittings ago!!)

Time flies so fast. Its my third time i am writing in a results thread on AS!

There were people saying that examiner comments or something like that are out already (not the answers). Anyone has any idea about those? Im not the type who would go around reading the answers and then cry in my pillow the whole night :D but i sure like to read the examiner comments and expect accordingly!

Very very anxious.  Last exam so going to be a long weekend but not in a good way.

Been feeling pretty sick all week at the thought.  Be glad when I know whether I can bin the books or start redoing Advanced Tax.

Going to get some work done on one of my tattoos this morning so I’m sure the pain will give me something different to worry about.
Hope everyone has an okay weekend and try not to stress too much.  Don’t know why I’m saying that - wait till you see the state of me tomorrow night.

Only taking one but fully expecting the trend to continue:
June 08 - 0/2
Dec 08 - 3/4
June 09 - 1/3
Dec 09 - 3/3

First attempt June > get lazy as it’s summer > pass the resit. Can’t see it changing this time.

People have been talking about some examiner comments. Wonder what they are. Which exams are u waiting for Carl?

Dont fret out Mdam. Just hope for the best. You are awaiting P3 i think this time? I am on the same boat, except that i have got P1 along with it too. lol Just praying that i pass my P1 and P3. Then will be left with the last two exams. Dont want to give more than two this Dec :(

doing F7 and F8, feeling slightly more confident about F8, but with F7 it wasnt lack of ability that will be my downlfall, it was time pressure

The Examiners congregate after the exams to assess the recent exams that have been sat and confir over whether they were fair, if there was any special considerations when marking etc… its just nice to read

Well, i heard F7 was real tough too? F6, F7 and P2 were the most horrible ones this attempt. Whenever such a case happens, a lot of people pass because they give you more allowance for marks. Happened the attempt i gave F9. Was a terrible exam, but a lot of people ended up passing. On the other hand, with easier exams they get strict.
