Hello everyone,

Very interesting site :)

I am a foreign accountancy student, and I am currently searching a lot of academic literature/journals and essays.
Our databases don’t have a lot of english literature. That’s why I am asking here.

Are there any magazines/journals from the UK, which discuss the latest topics on IFRS/US-Gaap?
I’d really appreciate any recommendations :)

Best regards,
V

PQ Magazine is not bad. I also read Wiley, some useful things can be found there. And of course, Accountancy age.

Accountancy magazine, published by ICAEW, is one of the best, er… accountancy… magazines smile.
Accountancy Age runs a close second, and is more newspaperish.

Financial Management (CIMA) and Accounting Technician (AAT) are worth a read, although they are understandably focused on technical matters some of their articles are still worth a look.

If you’re talking proper academic journals, my favourites are

Accounting, Organisations and Society
Critical Perspectices on Accounting

(I miss having access to a full university library.  I miss ATHENS.  Does that make me weird?)
