Hello, is it true that in Essential module (P1 P2 , P3) if a student skips the 50 marks compulsary question ,attempts section B and gets 50 out of 50 from it, still examiner can fail him/her because the compulsary question was not attempted?

I think it’s so unlikely that anyone would get 50/50 on the remaining questions that it’s never been dreamed of before!

Also the chance of anyone getting all the optional questions correct but not having a clue on the compulsory question as to not even attempt ie exceptionally remote.

Look at all the past prizewinners - no-one has got 100% in any of the P or old core papers. And look at the examiners comments and see how often examiners say the pass rate was poor due to students not attempting all of the questions (and almost always its one of the optionals that is missed out).

So I’m with BlueWednesday.

Instead of thinking about what ifs, just get your head down and get some study in. Then you’ll be in good shape to attempt all of the questions.

i have passed p1 and 2 with the grace of God. i asked this as i heard from some one so i thought i may confirm this just for knowledge purposes
