Hi, everyone,

I have finished 7 out of 14 ACCA papers(F1-F5 exempted and F6,F7 I passed them in Dec,2009. Now I would like to take 3 more papers in Jun,2010. I will take F8,F9 plus one P paper, but I am not sure which one to choose between P1 and P3 to make it have a good combine with F8 and F9? Are P1 and P3 more on written or calculation? Have P1 and P3 any relationship with other F papers? Your advices would be highly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

there is some overlap between F8 and P1 so they should work well together. grin

Hi and welcome to AS.

I agree with Starfish, I think F8, F9 & P1 are a good combination. I assume you’re not working full-time? If you are, then I’d just stick with F8 and F9.

Well done in passing F6 & F7 together, as well as these being your first ACCA papers, there’s a lot of material to learn for both. Hopefully this bodes well for your future studies.

Hi, Thanks very much, Starfish and Mature-Student! I think I will go ahead for F7,F8 and P1 then. I am working full time and extremely busy for month-end closing every month. But I just resigned and will finish my work at the end of April, that is why I am thinking to do 3 papers this time to get a try.

As I have been exempeted from F1-F5 and I haven’t been studying for several years. I am a bit worry about catching up all the foundamental knowledge to continue with futher papers…...
