Hi!
I am new member and want to solve my problem.I want to know that is it important to work if we have chosen NVQ/SVQ in AAT?If I choose NVQ/SVQ Route then who will provide me a job or I have to take job by myself.Which one is best for AAT(Diploma) via distance learning, kaplan or BPP?Is there any disadvantage in distance learning?Do we have to register first with AAT then with our tution provider?Where I will give paper if I will choose home study and I live in Pakistan.Do classroom courses and distance learning courses have same value? How many papers are left for ACA(UK)after AAT-Diploma?I will be pleased if anyone will solve my problem.

So many questions - I’ll answer them one by one in the order you asked them:

NVQ works better if you are working as you can provide some work based evidence.  If you do not have an accountancy based position you are probably better to take the diploma route.

AAT will not provide you with a job, you have to find that yourself.

Kaplan and BPP do distance learning and are both the same standard so the choice is yours.

Distance learning is hard when you have no one to discuss things with.

You are better to register with the AAT and then the tuition provider.

You will have to contact AAT (preferably before you join AAT) to find out where the exam centre in Pakistan is.

Classroom courses generally make things easier imho but others get on better with distance learning - it’s up to you.

You will need to look on the ACA website to find what exemptions you get after AAT.

Has that helped?
