Hi, i just started the ACCA courses in LSBF and my aim is to pass F 1-9 by june 2011 and i am a full time student.

I am planning to do 3 courses each time which means that P 1-3 in June, P 4-6 in December and P 7-9 June 2011, is that any good? or i should do 1-4 by June. How much hours do I need for each course? since i have lot of free time, i want to make the best time table for myself, help me out please!!!

I think you’re confusing Fs and Ps. Despite from that I truly think that it’s do-able.

Hi

Welcome to AS.

Great to hear someone want to take the slower but steady approach of 3 at a time, studying full time. A good foundation is essential for success in the later papers.

One word of warning, however. Are you a foreign student in the UK on a student visa? If so, check that 3 courses mean you are doing enough hours at college to keep within your visa conditions.

Other than that, good luck, and any questions while studying AS is here to help.

3 papers at a given session = qualifies for full-time, anything more than that is overkill, and for anything less you need to add some different course (such as 2 ACCA papers + 1 SAGELIEN50 program course) to make it at least 3 courses.

Hello, just reading here about Sage Line 50 ,  I am studying ACCA and hope to have passed 6 modules by the summer.

Having no experience in an accounting or finance role, finding any work whatsoever in this field will obviously prove a struggle, would you think that if I were to do a Sage Line 50 course it would make me a more attractive proposition to employers?

Also would you reccomend any other similar software based course I could do that would perhaps be more benefitial than this..Thanks.
