Hi All,

Mark and I would like to wish all of you all the best of luck if you are waiting on ACCA exam results this weekend.  We know the last weekend before the results is always a killer!!

We have set up this thread as a “sticky” so you can support eachother during the final wait over this weekend.  We would also like you to post your successes and (fingers crossed not many) disappointments on here when the results are finally released.

Once again, on behalf of AccountancyStudents, good luck.

Kind regards
Steve

I hope ill be posting success in this thread on monday.

4 papers, If i pass 3 ill be reasonably happy.. Although ill still be dissapointed for the 1 failed paper.. If i pass all 4, Ill be over the moon. Anything less then 3 passes will be a huge disappointment for me.

It could be worse - you could be facing the real likelihood of having to redo P2

I’m sooo scared about my p6 result…. my latest prediction is 33%. I’m going to really annoy my family this weekend… And I’m fed up of being told ‘theres no point worrying about it now’ - I KNOW!!!! Can’t exactly help it though

Unfortunately I have been able to sleep so have been getting the dreams! Last night I dreamt I passed one of my papers with flying colours, never a good thing, fail here we come!

I have done the incredibly unwise thing of checking out the solutions and examiners reports. They werent kidding when they said curiousity killed the cat. Anyway the P2 examiner claims that all parts of the paper were done well. I think someone really must show him mine because that paper was the pits for me!

‘All parts of the paper done well??’ oh dear - thats a sure fail for me then.  I was hoping that they would say that it was a really hard paper and mark it lightly

Bummer- where is the examiners report on the papers?

If you go to students and affiliates/study exams and exemptions/ exam paper resources and to your relevant paper they are posted there. I was hoping he was going to say it was found exceptionally hard and done badly. However everyone I have spoken to found it hard! He was playing games with the new statement of comprehensive income… i did suspect at the time. There were things that were there for you to ignore…. nice winkIf I do not get through this time,I am thinking you can be sure the consolidation question the next sitting is going to be the new IFRS3 treatments on acquisitions and disposals. Nice to know what to focus on if it wasnt so horrible!

No no no no!!! Do not tempt fate and talk about what is coming up next time… I am praying for a miracle and am going to analyse his statement now.  I am in the worst mood ever I think i am going to have to take out my worry on the cross trainer at the gym.

Sounds like a plan! What do you think the chances of them being out tomorrow night is? This is my first sitting with ACCA as i am doing a conversion. I find it torcherous that they choose a monday release!

I have just read the examiners report - i think i must have sat a different paper!! Gutting as i did so much work for it.

I have done ACCA right from the start and nope there is no way they will be released early.

My results usually come through at about 5 a.m (i am up all nite!!!) by email but last sitting they had not come through so i logged onto the ACCA website about 5a.m and they were there ready and waiting.

I have heard that it is really unlikely that people can log into the site due to the sheer volume but i guess most people are not trying at 5a.m

So this time, my strategy is copious amounts of coffee, biscuits and a nite pressing refresh refresh on my hotmail and attempting to log onto the website!

Ho hum I just wish I could forget about it and chill out but there is no point even trying I am waay too anxious.  In fact my house is empty everyone has gone out they are too scared of my dark mood!!
