thanks blue wednesday, ive already started swotting for P3 anyway, done 25% of the book already! i shall have trouble choosing my optional 2, no way am i doing audit, but as i am in a practice my boss will assume i want to do tax - thing is i dont wish to stay in this job once im qualified, id like to move into something like running or helping to run the whole accounts system for a small local business, so i think the financial management and performance management ones would suit me better! dont have to decide just yet though, luckily!

i must look at some other threads on here, im sure i can contribute to some, was v pleased when i found this site!

I have to say I enjoyed learning P3 - just hated question practice for it!

I live in the United States. After 3 sittings I am able to pass Audit and Assurance F8 this time. The results came a day after my birthday. My sights are now set on F7 and F9. Valuable advice welcome.

Hi all,

I am a new ACCA Affiliate after passing my final 2 papers.

Wanted to ask to those that applied ACCA Affiliate online.

After applying online, do we need to send them any documents or form?
Because, the online form is much more lesser questions than the hard copy form.

What’s the procedure for applying ACCA Affiliate certificate online?
Please help.. Thank you!

Cheers~

Hi

If you go into the online membership form you get the option to apply for full membership or the affiliate certificate.

For full membership, you have to provide the details of the person/people who can confirm you have met the experience requirements (i.e. your STR supervisor or PER mentor). You then have to send these people the blank reference form,m which they can either send back to you to send on to ACCA, or they can send it direct to ACCA themselves.

There is a part in the FAQ section on what to do if you have lost touch with one of your potential referees.

I hope this helps. I submitted mine on Tuesday, and I’m now collating my references (4! due to changing jobs and my previous line manager moving jobs himself!)

well so far it seems to be revision of P1 with some A-level Economics and Business Studies thrown in, so its been fine! Shame no sums, though, I do prefer numerical-heavy units

Hello everyone

I passed F5 and F6, I am so pleased, I didn’t get the greatest marks but I am still happy that I passed.  Now I plan to write F4 and F9 in December.

I just want to congratulate everyone that passed and all that didn’t make it, don’t give up you can make it next time.
