Major Conference Examines How Accountants Can Lead Change
The opportunity for commercially focussed accountants to drive and deliver real operational change has never been greater – but what’s the best way of achieving that and adding value to your organisation?
That’s the key theme of the CA Business Courses Accountants in Business Conference being held on 6th March in Edinburgh . The Conference, to be held at The Apex International Hotel, will offer an excellent opportunity to listen to leading finance professionals and discuss experiences of driving business change.
Jim Mather MSP, Minister for Enterprise , Energy and will give the keynote speech. Mr Mather, a CA, will outline the government’s economic policy, its strategic ambitions, the steps it is taking to improve the performance of specific industrial sectors and the opportunities that it sees for the accounting profession. Delegates will also hear from John Anderson, Chief Executive of the Entrepreneurial Exchange and Louise Clarkson, Director of The Keil Centre.
The event will be chaired by ICAS Senior Vice President, Glenn Allison CA, Group Managing Director of the Stewart Milne Group.
