The results were as follows:
Not suprisingly 50% of respondents take a well earned break.
26% start studying for the next exams gaining a useful six to eight weeks!
4% review study notes in case of resits.
20% do a combination of all three!
In June we asked the question “Would you recommend accountancy as a career?”
Surprisingly only 65% of you said yes, you would recommend accountancy as a career to others. A massive 28% said no way, you wouldn’t recommend it and 7% were left undecided.
Given that the majority of visitors to this site are studying accountancy and in many cases are at the start of their career, it is surprising that such a high number (28%) wouldn’t recommend it!

For a bit of fun over the Easter break we hid 6 Easter Eggs around the site in our inaugural AccountancyStudents Easter Egg Hunt. All you had to do was search around and when you found one of the Eggs hover on it and note down the secret code. Find all six secret codes and you could have been a winner!
