Hi all

I need to get a copy of a document certified by an appropriate person who isn’t related to me but I can’t think of any that I know (apart from my doctor and I can’t see me managing to get an appointment with him just to sign a document!)

Who is normally regarded as an appropriate person?

ie doctor
magistrate

I suppose a solicitor would do it for a fee?

any suggestions?
